What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct thorough legal research and fact-checking to prepare for cases.
• Drafting: Assist in drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents such as wills, trusts, and estate plans.
• Support: Provide comprehensive litigation support, including evidence management and trial preparation for attorneys.
• Coordination: Coordinate professionally with clients, witnesses, and court officials while maintaining all case-related documents.
• Filing & Admin: Prepare and file court documents in a timely manner and manage administrative tasks like scheduling and communications.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Paralegal certification and an educational background in law, with a focus on trusts, estates, and probate law.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years as a Litigation Paralegal, specifically with a concentration in trusts, estates, and probate law.
• Skills: Proven experience in legal research, legal writing, legal document preparation, litigation support, trial preparation, and strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
