The Tone:
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP is a national law firm with a broad presence, operating offices in all 50 States. This is a full-time role for a Litigation Paralegal, situated within the firm’s welcoming Denver office. The firm builds a comprehensive legal organization serving clients nationwide. This position is vital for maintaining the efficiency and organization of the litigation department, directly supporting multiple attorneys by streamlining case-related documentation, communications, and administrative tasks, ensuring that legal operations run smoothly and effectively.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Management: Effectively organize and maintain a high volume of litigation documents, leveraging excellent computer skills and familiarity with document management systems.
• Communication Oversight: Facilitate clear and professional communication with attorneys and other parties using tools like Outlook, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
• Time Entry and Management: Accurately track and manage billable hours using timekeeping software, contributing to precise client invoicing and record-keeping.
• Attorney Support and Prioritization: Skillfully prioritize tasks and manage workload for multiple attorneys, ensuring critical deadlines are met and support is efficiently provided.
• Detail-Oriented Execution: Perform all duties with unwavering attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in every task from document review to data entry.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suited for a professional with a minimum of two years of civil litigation experience, demonstrating a foundational understanding of legal procedures and documentation within a civil context.
• Experience: Candidates must possess at least two years of direct civil litigation experience. This includes practical experience utilizing essential software such as Microsoft Word and Outlook for daily tasks, communication, and document creation within a legal setting.
• Skills: The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent computer proficiency and superior document organization skills, crucial for managing extensive legal files. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for coordinating with legal teams and external parties. The ability to maintain a high attention to detail, act as a self-motivated individual, and efficiently multitask are also key requirements for managing diverse responsibilities.
• Bonus: While not strictly required, a paralegal certificate and/or a relevant degree is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with specific legal tech platforms such as iManage, or other document management systems, and iTimekeep, or other timekeeping software, would be a significant advantage, indicating readiness for the firm’s operational tools.
