This role is crucial for managing high-risk litigation and business disputes, contributing directly to the firm’s success across various practice areas.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Manage legal cases by overseeing document control, meticulously calendaring docket deadlines, and coordinating with and monitoring local counsel to ensure smooth operations.
• Document Production: Prepare and organize a variety of legal documents, including specialized forms, detailed charts, professional letters, and facilitate the review and production of documents.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough review and summarization of depositions and other relevant legal records to extract key information for case preparation.
• Expert Coordination: Facilitate the retention of expert witnesses, provide them with comprehensive case materials, and coordinate critical deadlines for their reports and depositions.
• Litigation Support: Provide essential assistance for trials and hearings, including the organization of all trial documents and exhibits, preparation for depositions, and drafting discovery documents and form pleadings/motions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This paralegal role requires 3-5 years of dedicated experience specifically within similar practice areas such as insurance defense, toxic tort, premise liability, product liability, and transportation.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex legal tasks, including the preparation and organization of legal documents and records, along with a strong understanding of litigation support processes.
• Skills: Possesses strong attention to detail, exhibits clear initiative, and demonstrates self-direction in managing responsibilities. Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential.
