• Mission: Owns driving transformation in record to report areas holistically as a transformation lead, protecting public interest, promoting transparency, and supporting investor confidence.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive Transformation: Utilize deep techno-functional knowledge to lead transformation in record to report areas such as revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany reconciliation, asset accounting, and consolidation processes, focusing on process improvement rather than technology implementation.
• Provide Expertise & Lead Teams: Offer Subject Matter Expertise and lead delivery teams in record to report transformation and implementation projects across various process areas.
• Lead Client Engagements & Solution Development: Lead pursuit teams to understand client problems, formulate tailored solutions, develop client-specific proposals, and collaborate with market teams to secure new business for EY.
• Develop Internal Capabilities & Coach Teams: Lead the development of internal capabilities, conduct training sessions to coach internal teams, and drive operational initiatives within practice areas.
• Manage & Develop Team Members: Directly manage a team of 5-8 FTEs across multiple solution areas, providing coaching, motivation, guided training, and career path development to keep them engaged.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Executive-level professional with a CA, MBA (Finance) with Commerce Background, CWA, CMA, CFA, or M.Com qualification.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant consulting experience specifically in record to report transformation, not industry user experience; willingness to travel for short or long durations at short notice.
• Skills: Deep techno-functional knowledge of record to report data structures and process flows in leading ERP solutions, strong business development and solution conceptualization/ideation skills, excellent written and oral communication, and proven ability to lead diverse teams across multiple geographies.
• Bonus: Knowledge and experience of AI solutions development in record to report areas based on SAP platforms, certification/sound experience in ERPs like SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO/COPA, Oracle Fusion Finance, or digital finance solutions like Blackline, and experience with previous multinational consulting firms or Big4 firms.
