Litigation Paralegal | Morgan & Morgan, P.A.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare a variety of legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda, and discovery documents such as interrogatories.
• Manage the electronic filing of all court documents in both state and federal court systems, and draft and serve summons as required.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations to gather relevant information from various sources to support case development and strategy.
• Coordinate and summarize depositions, and prepare comprehensive trial binders, exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for court proceedings.
• Handle administrative duties such as calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, and managing logistics for trial teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced professional with an Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, particularly in a legal support or paralegal capacity.
• Experience: 2+ years of litigation experience is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings; applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures; highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Bonus: Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred.
