This is a 12-week co-op role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, requiring onsite and in-office work in Massachusetts. The TL;DR

• Mission: To contribute to strategic and operational finance projects across various functional areas, gaining practical experience and impacting business outcomes.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute: Engage in projects within Corporate Finance, supporting strategic financial planning and analysis.
• Support: Assist with commercial finance initiatives, potentially involving market analysis or sales performance.
• Analyze: Participate in Finance Data & Analytics projects, leveraging data to inform financial decisions.
• Execute: Perform duties within General Accounting, applying fundamental accounting principles.
• Optimize: Work on Operations Finance tasks, connecting financial outcomes to operational performance.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related area, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Experience: 0 years of work experience required, with a proven track record of leadership through student organizations, athletics, Greek life, community service, volunteer organizations, campus programs, or military service.
• Skills: Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and an innovative mindset, combined with excellent interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence to build diverse relationships. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, solve complex problems, and show grit, resilience, and perseverance when facing challenges.
• Bonus: Previous related internships are preferred. Geographic mobility and flexibility are required for future career opportunities, and a relocation stipend of $5,000 may be offered if located 50+ miles from the work location. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status; Thermo Fisher does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT Visas for practical experience.
