This Doc Review Attorney position is critical to the firm’s mission, contributing directly to the foundational discovery efforts in mass tort and class action cases, thereby empowering the legal teams to advocate effectively for millions of Americans.

• Mission: Own the thorough execution of E-Discovery and document review processes for mass tort and class action cases, providing essential legal support that underpins successful litigation and the firm’s advocacy for consumer rights.
• Tech Stack: Relativity, DISCO

What You’ll Actually Do
• Perform: Conduct substantive document review on hosted platforms such as Relativity and DISCO, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of case materials.
• Analyze: Review and categorize documents based on responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, issues, and privilege, applying legal judgment to each item.
• Manage: Prepare comprehensive privilege and redaction logs, and actively assist in addressing and resolving challenges related to privilege assertions.
• Support: Provide legal assistance with deposition preparation, contribute to trial support activities, and draft motions as required for ongoing cases.
• Contribute: Participate in special projects and undertake other assigned legal duties to support the firm’s overall litigation efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a fully accredited law school and maintain active membership in good standing with the Minnesota State Bar Association.
• Experience: Bring a minimum of one year of direct personal injury experience within a legal setting.
• Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in substantive document review, including the ability to identify responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, issues, and privilege, and familiarity with E-Discovery platforms like Relativity and DISCO.
• Bonus: Prior experience specifically in E-Discovery or document review is preferred, indicating an existing understanding of the core function.
