Litigation Paralegal | Cyperus Group LLC

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Cyperus Group LLC, located on-site at an undisclosed location. The firm is a boutique law firm known for its expanding, cutting-edge Litigation Practice, representing hedge funds, private equity firms, and investment professionals. This position is vital for supporting attorneys through all phases of complex, high-stakes litigation, ensuring efficient and organized case management. The Litigation Paralegal will play a direct role in the firm’s critical focus areas, including securities litigation, business divorce disputes, sophisticated financial litigation, and government investigations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Create, organize, and maintain case files, including monitoring deadlines and tracking court dockets.
• Discovery & Filings: Prepare and execute document productions according to discovery requirements and perform electronic filing in federal and state courts.
• Document Preparation: Redact and bates-stamp documents using Adobe, and draft, edit, and format documents using Microsoft Office.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research using Westlaw, perform cite-checking of briefs, and generate Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities for filings.
• Hearing Support: Prepare exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trial testimony.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in any field. This role requires a strong background in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation within a law firm setting.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency in electronic filing for federal and state courts is required. Expertise in e-discovery platforms, specifically Relativity and DISCO, is essential, alongside strong legal research capabilities using Westlaw and command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bonus: A paralegal certificate is preferred. Candidates should also possess excellent judgment, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a collegial, team-oriented environment.
