What You’ll Actually Do
• Filing Management: Accurately enter and maintain court filings in the Firm’s docketing database.
• Deadline Tracking: Calculate and track all litigation deadlines in accordance with applicable rules and procedures.
• Case Monitoring: Monitor court dockets and activity to identify important case developments and updates.
• Compliance and Submission: Review documents for compliance prior to filing and handle electronic and in-person court submissions.
• Procedural Guidance: Provide guidance to internal teams on court procedures, local rules, and individual judges’ rules.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, providing foundational knowledge for litigation support and court operations.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in a Managing Attorney’s Office, proficient in electronic filing using CM/ECF, NYSCEF, and ACMS, and experience using CourtAlert or comparable docketing software.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures, meticulous attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
