Case Manager | Morgan & Morgan, P.A.
The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at Morgan & Morgan, P.A., located at a firm office. The Case Manager plays a vital role in upholding consumer rights and securing favorable outcomes for clients, directly contributing to this impactful mission.

• Mission: To assist attorneys in developing settlements, preparing necessary documents and correspondence, and managing varied caseloads for clients while upholding consumer rights.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Engage daily with both existing and potential clients through various channels, including direct telephone conversations and in-person interactions.
• Medical Records Coordination: Systematically order essential medical records from a range of providers, maintaining continuous communication with clients and providers throughout the entire course of treatment.
• Documentation Procurement: Proactively obtain all necessary documents required to substantiate injury and/or liability positions, which involves interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
• Case File Oversight: Ensure comprehensive and organized management of case files from the initial intake process through to closing, working diligently under the direct supervision and guidance of an attorney.
• Demand Preparation: Prepare and assemble comprehensive demands along with all supporting documentation for formal submission to insurance carriers, operating under the direct supervision of an attorney to ensure accuracy and completeness.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a professional who is highly organized and customer-focused, with empathy for clients navigating legal challenges. While a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, the core domain knowledge should stem from prior experience in personal injury case management, prelitigation paralegal work, or related legal/insurance adjuster roles.
• Experience: Candidates should ideally possess at least 2 years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster. Prior experience specifically as a Personal Injury Case Manager or a Prelitigation Paralegal is also strongly preferred, demonstrating direct relevance to the varied caseloads managed by the firm.
• Skills: Essential skills include the ability to be a collaborative team player and follow established procedures, coupled with proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers. The candidate must possess strong capabilities in multi-tasking, prioritizing tasks, and managing a demanding workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Strong writing and communication skills, along with meticulous attention to detail, are critical. Extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute, are also required.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree is a preferred qualification. Additionally, strong preference will be given to candidates with prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or Prelitigation Paralegal, or those with at least 2 years of working experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster.
