General Manager Dallas, TX | Cosentino

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Cosentino, located in Dallas, TX. Cosentino is a world-leading producer of architectural and decorative surfaces, designing innovative and functional solutions for home and business spaces with products such as Silestone®, Dekton®, and Sensa by Cosentino®. This role is crucial for managing the sales and profitability of several distribution centers, coordinating sales teams, and driving commercial development to achieve corporate initiatives and goals. The General Manager ensures the integrity of service levels for customers and tracks projects within their area.

• Team: Manages sales teams across multiple distribution centers, reporting to the Regional Director.
• Mission: Owns the sales and profitability of several distribution centers, ensuring commercial development and high-quality customer service for clients.
• Tech Stack: CRM System, Salesforce, SAP or other Order Management program

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Growth: Grow sales and distribution of all company product lines across the affiliated centers in the area, focusing promotional efforts on point-of-purchase displays.
• Financial Management: Create and adhere to a yearly budget related to both expenses and revenue for the centers.
• Team Leadership: Manage the sales teams across assigned locations, leading by example to foster staff development and ensure Health and Safety procedures are enforced.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, local distributors, and national accounts, while coordinating with the corporate office on marketing and co-advertising efforts.
• Performance Monitoring: Manage, monitor, and evaluate the results of each center, assessing the degree of achievement against planned goals in areas like billing, efficiency, and profitability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field. This is a management-level position overseeing multiple distribution centers.
• Experience: 5+ years of sales experience; 2+ years in the stone industry; 2+ years of experience managing staff.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills; wide knowledge of business functions; financial and budgeting skills; strong leadership abilities.
• Bonus: Master’s degree; Salesforce experience; SAP or other Order Management program experience.
