The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CEVA Logistics, located in Ridgefield, NJ. CEVA Logistics provides global supply chain solutions, connecting people, products, and providers through contract logistics and various transport modes. This role is crucial for leading multiple operational departments, guiding high-performing teams, and ensuring the seamless execution of transportation, customs, and warehouse activities. The position directly impacts the delivery of exceptional customer service and compliance with all regulatory requirements for the movement of imported and exported goods.

• Pay: $80000–$90000 yearly
• Team: Leads multiple departments and team leads, partners closely with the Operations Manager.
• Mission: To drive logistics excellence by overseeing three key operational departments and ensuring seamless execution and compliance across supply chain activities.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Oversight: Oversee three key operational departments, ensuring the alignment of processes, service levels, and productivity across all areas.
• Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop employees and team leads, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Compliance Assurance: Review and validate shipping documentation, calculate duties and tariffs, and communicate with customs officials to ensure full compliance with regulations.
• Customer and Process Improvement: Provide outstanding customer service, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous process improvements within assigned departments.
• Strategic Support: Partner with the Operations Manager to support daily operations, strategic planning, budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED required. A Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of four years of related experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role. Three years of industry experience is preferred. Requires working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations, and recordkeeping.
• Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications. Proven experience in problem analysis, presentation of alternatives, and implementing solutions. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Bonus: Bilingual-Spanish proficiency preferred.
