What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Preparation: Obtain and follow up on medical records through authorizations and subpoenas, ensuring timely receipt.
• Data Management: Maintain and streamline case data with well-structured discovery and records organizational charts.
• Research Support: Conduct vital research by issuing Open Public Records Requests and performing background investigations.
• Attorney Support: Support attorneys during depositions and discovery by summarizing transcripts, managing key documents, and following up on requests.
• Document Management: Efficiently manage document productions by reviewing, analyzing, and organizing files from opposing parties and co-defendants.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with core domain knowledge in litigation.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Skills: Exceptional writing and communication skills; highly organized and detailed-oriented; proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Bonus: Paralegal Certificate preferred; strong preference for insurance defense experience.
