Paralegal | Weaver Johnston & Nelson, PLLC
The Tone:
This is a flexible role, available as either a full-time or part-time opportunity, located in Dallas, TX. Weaver Johnston & Nelson, PLLC is a growing law firm seeking to expand its team. This Paralegal position is critical for providing experienced support to attorneys across both corporate/transactional matters and commercial litigation, contributing directly to the firm’s client services and case management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Management: Conduct thorough document review, analysis, organization, and production for both corporate and litigation matters.
• Litigation Support: Support commercial litigation through all phases, including pleadings, discovery, deposition preparation, mediation, hearings, and trial.
• Corporate Transactions: Assist with various corporate and transactional matters, such as entity formation, governance materials, due diligence, and closing documents.
• Legal Drafting & Review: Prepare and review a range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, contracts, and agreements.
• Case & Docket Administration: Manage state and federal court filings, electronic filing systems, litigation deadlines, and maintain organized case files and corporate records.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced Paralegal with a strong background supporting attorneys in both corporate/transactional matters and commercial litigation within a law firm environment.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of paralegal experience required, including robust document review and document management.
• Skills:
* Familiarity with litigation procedures, discovery processes, and legal documentation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology platforms.
* Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience with Texas state and federal court filings.
