What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Manage plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through settlement, judgment, or trial, handling both pre-litigation and litigation files.
• Draft: Draft legal documents including correspondence, demands, pleadings, discovery, and other case-related documents.
• Organize: Request, review, and organize critical case documentation such as medical records, bills, police reports, and supporting materials.
• Communicate: Serve as a primary communicator with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Coordinate: Coordinate key legal activities including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation, while managing attorney calendars, deadlines, and organized case files.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal.
• Experience: Prior plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience is required, with comfort managing files from inception through resolution, including both pre-litigation and litigation matters.
• Skills: Strong drafting, organization, calendar management, and client communication skills; ability to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and support staff.
• Bonus: Bilingual English/Spanish, both spoken and written, is a plus, alongside a commitment to taking ownership of files, showing strong attention to detail, and bringing a compassionate approach to client service.
