• Mission: Organize and manage large-scale, document-intensive litigation cases to support the firm’s insurance fraud and liability defense matters.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Organization: Organize large-scale, fast-moving, and document-intensive cases for the insurance fraud team.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and jury verdicts.
• Document Summarization: Summarize case documents, including document productions, expert reports, and deposition transcripts.
• Discovery Management: Propound and respond to discovery, while maintaining files and tracking discovery deadlines.
• EUO Process Management: Coordinate and manage the Examination Under Oath (EUO) process end-to-end, including drafting all necessary initial, continued, reset, and follow-up notices.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced paralegal with core domain knowledge in litigation.
• Experience: 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, capable of managing deadlines and working under pressure, proactive.
