Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury | Deldar Legal

This is a full-time, onsite role at Deldar Legal, located in Los Angeles, CA. This role is crucial for engaging deeply with complex litigation matters and playing a key part in preparing cases for depositions, mediations, and trials. What You’ll Actually Do
• Litigation Support: Manage all aspects of litigation support, from initial case investigation through trial.
• Discovery & Case Management: Coordinate all phases of the discovery process, including document production and evidence organization.
• Trial Preparation: Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit binders, witness files, and other courtroom materials for effective trial presentation.
• Document Drafting: Draft, proofread, and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with court rules.
• Collaboration & Client Support: Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients to ensure cases remain organized and prepared for trial.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program, with required fluency in Spanish.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of civil litigation experience in a trial-focused law firm, including supporting trial attorneys through all phases of litigation, and strong knowledge of California Rules of Court, Code of Civil Procedure, and electronic filing systems.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational, research, writing, and proofreading abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal case management, document management, and e-discovery software, along with strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bonus: Experience in plaintiff-side personal injury and consumer class action litigation, prior experience with Big Law or a respected litigation boutique, trial preparation experience through verdict, familiarity with Trial Director, Relativity, and Adobe Acrobat, and experience coordinating expert witnesses and complex litigation matters.
