What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Provide financial analysis and support for fund banking operations by analyzing financial data and preparing detailed reports.
• Strategize: Assist in the development of financial strategies for fund management, working closely with fund managers, investment professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor: Gather, organize, analyze, and monitor borrower data to determine performance and produce various reports for management.
• Evaluate: Assist in analyzing prospective credit decisions, including understanding a borrower’s past performance, assets, or investors.
• Process: Assist with various client requests related to their loans or deposit accounts, frequently processing loan advance requests, and performing ad-hoc reports for the Fund Banking or Venture Banking teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or another business-related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of full-time work experience, preferably in commercial banking, finance, accounting, investment banking, or alternative investments.
• Skills: Basic understanding of the venture capital / private equity ecosystem and how private investment funds are structured; strong skills in analyzing investment funds and their underlying objectives; knowledge of key financial principles; strong ability to produce high-quality work products independently and as part of a collegial team.
• Bonus: Ability to work on a small entrepreneurial team and passion for improving processes and solving problems without highly structured guidance; comfort in working directly with senior executives and investment firms.
