The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at IronHorn Enterprises, located in East Syracuse, NY. IronHorn Enterprises specializes in the ownership and acquisition of industrial real estate, managing a portfolio valued at over $300 million. This position offers significant opportunities for professional development and advancement within the Finance Team. The Real Estate Finance Analyst will provide essential support in managing property finance functions, including critical assistance with engagement of lenders and equity groups, debt and equity placement, and the maintenance of financial models for active properties and potential acquisitions.

• Team: Finance Team, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Finance
• Mission: Supports the Finance Team in managing all property finance functions, from engagement with lenders and equity groups to debt and equity placement, and maintaining accurate financial models for their substantial industrial real estate portfolio.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Proforma Development: Support the preparation of building-level proformas and investment summaries.
• Financing Coordination: Assist senior staff in preparing materials and communications for lenders and equity partners, and coordinate financing processes.
• Financial Modeling: Maintain and update financial models for active properties and potential acquisitions.
• Underwriting: Provide support for underwriting acquisitions and tenant credit reviews.
• Due Diligence: Assist in gathering and analyzing documents for property and tenant due diligence.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–3 years of relevant finance or real estate experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience in financial modeling.
