The Tone:

As the Legal Assistant, you will provide essential support to attorneys and clients, playing a pivotal role in managing case preparations and ensuring the seamless operation of legal support functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Support: Provide comprehensive assistance to attorneys for all aspects of case preparation, including gathering necessary documents and conducting preliminary research.
• Document Drafting: Prepare and draft a variety of critical legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, and professional correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• File Management: Systematically organize and maintain detailed case files, encompassing both physical and electronic filing systems, to ensure easy access and compliance.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research using diverse online databases and other available resources to support case strategies and attorney requirements.
• Administrative Assistance: Provide support to clients and assist with a range of administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations and client service.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Demonstrated experience providing legal support within a law firm or legal department.
• Experience: At least 1 year of dedicated Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience in a legal environment.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, strong time management skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines.
