NASTAD is a leading non-partisan non-profit association committed to advancing public health in the United States. We represent public health officials who administer HIV and hepatitis programs, working to strengthen governmental public health through strategic advocacy, vital capacity building, and a steadfast commitment to social justice. Our core mission is to enhance the health and dignity of individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, and related public health challenges.

Through the expertise of our seven specialized programmatic teams—spanning areas like Health Care Access, Health Systems Integration, and Health Equity—we interpret policies, conduct essential trainings, provide technical assistance, and mobilize advocacy efforts.
