What You’ll Actually Do
• Consulting & Analysis: Engage with clients across various levels, from laboratory directors to C-suite, to assess current operational performance, resource utilization, workflow efficiency, and business challenges through data analysis and operational evaluations.
• Solution Implementation: Lead the deployment and adoption of Abbott’s operational solutions, including inventory management, sample logistics, workflow automation, and decision-support platforms, from planning to post-implementation support.
• Strategic Partnership: Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare institutions, providing evidence-based consultation and education to support business transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
• Process Transformation: Guide clients in redesigning business processes, such as inventory management, sample logistics, and workflow optimization, leveraging industry best practices and Abbott’s solutions to achieve measurable operational results.
• Value Creation: Articulate and demonstrate the measurable operational, financial, and strategic value generated for healthcare institutions and their patients through the effective implementation and use of Abbott’s digital health solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Management, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in healthcare operations, laboratory operations, business consulting, supply chain management, operational excellence, or healthcare data analytics. Experience leading operational transformations, change management, process improvement initiatives, or business optimization projects is valued.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to convert complex operational challenges into actionable solutions; excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder relationship management skills; ability to comprehend, analyze, and present operational, financial, and business performance data effectively.
• Bonus: A Master’s degree (MBA, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management); prior experience in laboratory operations, healthcare supply chains, diagnostic services, or health technology solutions; knowledge of healthcare inventory management systems, workflow optimization tools, logistics solutions, business intelligence platforms, or operational analytics; certification in project management or experience managing cross-functional implementation projects.
