2027 Summer Assistant Vice President Internship – Corporate Functions, Strategy & Transformation (Internal Consulting) | BNP Paribas
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at BNP Paribas, located in New York, NY and Jersey City, NJ. BNP Paribas is a leading European bank with an international presence across 65 countries and nearly 190,000 employees, including over 3,500 in the US, building a strong and diversified presence to support its Corporate & Institutional Banking clients. This role matters as the Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization partners with executive management and senior leadership to design and drive strategically important initiatives, supporting the Bank’s development and transformation. This internship offers college students a springboard to launch their careers, gaining valuable, real-world experience, and contributing to significant change management projects from strategy to implementation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Problem Solving: Independently identify and analyze complex business problems, then proactively develop sustainable solutions using consulting frameworks.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market data, extract competitive insights, and identify strategic growth opportunities for the bank.
• Financial Evaluation: Perform financial analysis and evaluate strategies for cost optimization and revenue maximization.
• Client Engagement: Prepare and proactively contribute to client deliverables, workshops, interviews, and presentations.
• Project Management: Lead project workstreams and provide core project management support, managing project plans and timelines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: MBA or relevant Master’s degree, suitable for college students graduating in Winter 2027 – Spring 2028.
• Experience: Graduation year of Winter 2027 – Spring 2028. Preferred 3+ years in consulting, strategy/corporate development, banking, or finance prior to business school.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative), excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Bonus: Foreign language fluency and international experience are preferred qualifications.
