What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process by developing detailed revenue and expense forecasts, and regularly updating these forecasts based on current market conditions and business performance.
• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain robust financial models to analyze various business scenarios, including new product launches and cost-saving initiatives, leveraging these models for performance analysis to identify deviations from budget and drivers of performance.
• Strategic Insights: Analyze comprehensive financial data to identify emerging trends, potential risks, and significant opportunities for growth, subsequently providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Business Partnering & Communication: Collaborate with different departments (sales, marketing, operations) to understand their specific business drivers, provide financial support for informed decision-making, and prepare comprehensive financial reports to effectively communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within financial planning and analysis processes, focusing on opportunities for automation and data integration to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data, proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software (Excel), excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial insights to non-finance stakeholders, sound business acumen for understanding different business drivers, and practical experience with data visualization tools and Business Intelligence platforms.
