The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Hardee, Pinol & Kracke, PLLC, located in Boise, Idaho. Our firm is a well-established and growing family law practice dedicated to providing compassionate, effective representation to clients during some of their most challenging and sensitive moments. This Paralegal position is essential for supporting our attorneys by managing critical legal processes and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily legal services. The ideal candidate will help us uphold our reputation for reliable, detail-oriented, and client-focused legal support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Document Drafting & Filing: Draft and prepare a wide range of legal documents, issue legal correspondence, and accurately file documents with various courts.
• Case Research & Preparation: Conduct thorough legal research and investigations, analyze case files and records, and assist attorneys with comprehensive case planning and trial preparation.
• Discovery & Evidence Management: Manage the discovery process between parties, compile trial exhibits, files, and notebooks, and organize other essential case documents.
• Client & Witness Coordination: Communicate effectively with witnesses, assist in the preparation of witness testimony, coordinate subpoena deliveries, and schedule critical meetings, interviews, mediations, and evaluations.
• Information & System Management: Maintain and manage electronic and physical filing systems, perform database management tasks, and oversee the firm’s legal library for organized information access.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional experienced in providing administrative or legal support within an office setting.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Previous experience in a law office or as an administrative assistant is preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication abilities; capacity to handle confidential information with discretion; ability to work reliably, professionally, both independently and as part of a team; and compassionately and professionally interact with clients during stressful situations.
• Bonus: Experience with LeanLaw legal case management software; direct experience in family law.
