Litigation Paralegal | Cyperus Group LLC

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at a boutique law firm that serves hedge funds, private equity firms, and investment professionals. The firm specializes in complex, high-stakes litigation, including securities litigation, business divorce disputes, sophisticated financial litigation, and government investigations. This role is crucial for supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, ensuring seamless case management and preparation for a growing practice.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Create, organize, and maintain case files, including monitoring deadlines and tracking court dockets.
• Document Production: Prepare and execute document productions in accordance with discovery requirements.
• Court Filings: Perform electronic filing in both federal and state courts.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research using Westlaw and perform cite-checking for legal briefs.
• Exhibit Preparation: Prepare exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trial testimony.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a strong background in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation in a law firm setting.
• Experience: A minimum of three years of litigation experience in a law firm is required, with proficiency in e-discovery platforms like Relativity and DISCO, and document processing using Adobe and Microsoft Office.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. This role demands a self-starter with excellent judgment and initiative, capable of thriving in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: A paralegal certificate is preferred for this position.
