Program Finance Control Analyst | Collins Aerospace

The Tone:
This is a Hybrid role for Collins Aerospace, located remotely in New York. Collins Aerospace is a leader in technologically advanced, intelligent solutions that help redefine the aerospace and defense industry, operating as part of RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company. This position is crucial for supporting the financial and schedule control on complex projects requiring a validated cost schedule control system. The role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a team directly responsible for program execution, interacting with various internal departments and external customers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Planning & Control: Provide effective financial administrative planning and control on large and challenging development programs.
• Performance Baseline: Develop program Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) for earned value and project management purposes.
• Performance Analysis: Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identify trends, and provide information to Project Leadership Teams for corrective action.
• Financial Support: Prepare and analyze Estimates at Complete (EACs) and provide complete financial support to assigned program teams.
• Customer Interaction: Interact extensively with external customers, including the preparation and submission of customer cost and schedule related data items.

The Must-Haves
• Background: University Degree with a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with an Advanced Degree, including experience with Earned Value Concepts.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, or working with large data sets, coupled with good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to be a team player.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, experience presenting to large groups and leadership, experience using Power point, knowledge of COBRA and SAP Tools, and experience working with different programs and juggling multiple priorities.
