What You’ll Actually Do
• Docket Management: Oversee and manage large multi-case dockets, ensuring all multiple case deadlines are met.
• Discovery & Depositions: Coordinate depositions and draft essential pleadings and discovery documents.
• Litigation Preparation: Provide extensive knowledge in preparing for expert depositions and supporting trial preparation for MDL litigation matters.
• Attorney & Team Support: Deliver client reporting services and comprehensive general support to attorneys and all team members.
• Independent Workflow: Successfully work independently on the preparation of pleadings, discovery, motion documents, and e-discovery tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Experience: Possess extensive experience with the management of large multi-case dockets, including the management of multiple case deadlines, deposition coordination, and drafting pleadings and discovery. Required experience also includes e-filing in state and federal court, case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, and exhibit preparation. Candidates should have extensive knowledge in preparing for expert depositions and trial preparation for MDL litigation matters.
• Skills: Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required. Must be a self-starter and team player.
• Bonus: A Paralegal Certification is a plus. Familiarity with the NY State and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures is beneficial, and experience filing/serving out of State and in the Court of Appeals is preferred. Previous Compulaw and iManage/Document experience is beneficial. Familiarity with Insurance Defense cases is a plus.
