Paralegal | Travel + Leisure Co.
The Tone:
This is a hybrid role based in Orlando, FL, requiring in-office presence Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with remote work on Thursday and Friday. It is situated at Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s leading vacation ownership and travel membership company, which manages a growing portfolio of resort, travel club, and lifestyle travel brands. This Paralegal position is critical for achieving and maintaining compliance within Consumer Documents, directly supporting the company’s sales, marketing, and broader business operations. The role demands an ability to conduct thorough research, analyze information, maintain strict confidentiality, set clear priorities, anticipate needs proactively, and consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work, contributing to exceptional experiences for millions of travelers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare, draft, revise, and coordinate the implementation of required Consumer Documents.
• Legal Research: Perform comprehensive legal research, including reviewing federal, state, and local statutes, alongside applicable governing documents.
• Record Management: Maintain and organize essential information to ensure the retention of accurate legal records.
• Project Collaboration: Partner with the Consumer Documents team on assigned projects and coordinate work with other team members on related documents.
• Compliance Oversight: Support the achievement and maintenance of all required legal and regulatory compliance within assigned areas of responsibility.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate degree or a two-year technical certificate is required, with a paralegal degree, certificate, or Legal Assistant certification preferred. This role requires a demonstrated ability to research, interpret, and apply statutes, codes, and regulatory rules applicable to Travel + Leisure products. Experience may substitute for the education requirement if legally permitted.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as a paralegal or in a regulatory compliance role is required. Proven experience conducting legal research using online tools, internet resources, and other reference materials is also necessary.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate diverse responsibilities, and consistently meet deadlines in a demanding environment. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to clearly document and present complex information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bonus: Knowledge of vacation ownership regimes, drafting, and recording processes is a plus. Prior experience in hospitality and/or property management is preferred, and consumer finance, real estate, and/or title experience is also considered a plus.
