The position offers a unique opportunity for a litigation paralegal to move beyond typical document review into complex, high-profile employment law and voting rights matters, working alongside experienced partners and receiving direct mentorship from a senior paralegal with 20 years of experience. This role is designed for an adult professional who seeks to actively run pieces of litigation and manage their own matters.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Litigation Management: Manage the full litigation lifecycle, from pleadings through to trial preparation.
• Discovery Execution: Run discovery processes for complex cases.
• Preparation: Prepare exhibits and witnesses for various legal proceedings.
• File Progression: Keep complicated files moving effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Independent Matter Handling: Carry your own matters rather than working through someone else’s task list.

The Must-Haves
• Background: 4 to 10 years as a litigation paralegal in a law firm, coupled with a paralegal certificate.
• Experience: Proven experience in the rhythm of active litigation and a desire for more autonomy and responsibility than current roles offer.
• Skills: Expertise in running discovery; strong organizational skills for managing complicated files and deadlines; proficiency in preparing exhibits and witnesses; comprehensive knowledge of litigation procedures from pleadings to trial.
