Contract Administration – Paralegal | WSFS Bank

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at WSFS Bank, supporting the Cash Connect division. WSFS Bank is the region’s locally headquartered bank and wealth management company, empowering Associates to grow careers, guiding customers, and actively supporting Communities. This position is crucial for the legal and operational functions of the Cash Connect division, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of contracts, supporting legal documentation and research, and mitigating risk across the business in a security-sensitive environment.

• Mission: Ensure contract accuracy and compliance, support legal documentation, and mitigate risk for the Cash Connect division’s financial services, cash logistics, and armored carrier operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
Contract Management: Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and armored transport agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal policies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments such as TPRM, Legal, Operations, Risk, and Finance to align contract terms with business and security requirements, operational goals, and strategic objectives.
Record Maintenance: Maintain a centralized contract repository, meticulously tracking key dates like renewals, expirations, and compliance deadlines, while also monitoring and supporting vendor and client records, insurance requirements, and risk assessments.
Legal Advocacy: Serve as the primary legal contact for internal and external counsel and counterparties during contract negotiations, communicate legal positions clearly, and facilitate the resolution of contract disputes to protect the division’s and Bank’s interests.
Compliance & Support: Conduct legal research on banking, transportation, and regulatory matters (OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve), assist in preparing legal documents and filings, and support litigation and claims management through incident documentation and coordination with counsel.

The Must-Haves
Background: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with a Paralegal certification, to manage a staff of two in a legal and contract administration capacity.
Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years in legal or contract administration, with a preference for experience in financial services, armored carrier operations, or cash logistics, including direct experience working with vendor risk frameworks.
Skills: Demonstrate a strong understanding of contract law, banking regulations, and transportation compliance, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems. Exhibit excellent organizational, analytical, and strong verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients, their counsel, and represent the company’s interests in contractual matters.
Bonus: Must have a proven ability to quickly learn new areas and possess a solid understanding of all major parts of the business to effectively contribute to the division’s operations.
