Commercial Real Estate Paralegal | Byrd Campbell, P.A.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Byrd Campbell, P.A., a well-respected national firm with offices across the country, specializing in Commercial Real Estate and Complex Business Litigation. The position is based in the firm’s Winter Park, FL office, though the ability to work fully remotely is possible. Paralegals are considered a vital part of the team and a tremendous resource for the firm’s attorneys, expected to actively assist with all job aspects, from managing complex transactions to interacting with high-profile clients. • Mission: To serve as a dedicated and professional commercial real estate paralegal, ensuring organized and efficient support for attorneys across all phases of major transactions, from due diligence to closing, while consistently delivering superior results.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Due Diligence Review: Conduct thorough reviews of title, survey, and other essential due diligence documents.
• Title & Curative Action: Identify and resolve curative issues related to title, including preparing title objection letters.
• Transaction Management: Manage major commercial real estate transactions and their respective closings.
• Document & Checklist Preparation: Organize pre and post-closing documents and prepare closing statements and checklists.
• Contract & Entity Support: Assist with contract and lease review, and entity formations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate Degree. Senior-level professional competency in commercial real estate law.
• Experience: At least 5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience in a similar legal environment; more experience is welcomed.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, a natural problem-solving aptitude, clear and accurate communication, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight. Must be highly efficient, exhibit strong follow-through and accountability, and maintain professionalism and calm under pressure, demonstrating dedication, persistence, and reliability.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ABA Paralegal Certification highly preferred. Strong professional competency is acceptable in lieu of formal education.
