The Tone:

This role is crucial for supporting the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions for the firm’s Financial Institutions Group clients, delivering integrated capital markets solutions and contributing to strategic advisory discussions.

• Team: Global Equity Capital Markets team within the Investment Bank, working closely with FIG coverage teams across the Americas and globally.
• Mission: Originate, structure, and execute equity and equity-linked transactions for Financial Institutions Group clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Origination and Execution: Originate, structure, and execute equity and equity-linked transactions for FIG clients, including IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, and convertibles.
• Client Partnership: Partner closely with FIG coverage, syndicate, and sales teams to deliver integrated capital markets solutions.
• Process Management: Manage day-to-day execution processes, including coordination of internal and external stakeholders.
• Relationship Development: Develop and maintain senior client relationships across banks, insurers, asset managers, and specialty finance companies.
• Strategic Contribution: Contribute to strategic advisory discussions, including capital optimization, balance sheet management, and market positioning.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior team members.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree, possessing significant experience in Equity Capital Markets with strong Financial Institutions Group (FIG) sector exposure.
• Experience: Proven track record in executing a variety of equity and equity-linked transactions.
• Skills: Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills; Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities; Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure; Strong understanding of capital markets, investor dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
• Bonus: Established client relationships within the FIG ecosystem; Advanced degree or MBA preferred; Curiosity to explore how AI can improve how workflows are built, delivered, and optimized.
