• Team: Strategy function, working closely with global and regional Strategy teams for the International Private Bank and Private Bank of Deutsche Bank
• Mission: Support and advance strategic priorities across the Private Bank by conducting analysis, developing growth opportunities, and preparing communications for senior management.
• Tech Stack: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, AI tools and platforms (e.g. Copilot)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Analysis: Conduct analysis of competitors and the macro/market environment, covering quarterly financial performance, key themes impacting earnings, industry trends, and regulatory changes to act as a knowledge partner.
• Strategic Development: Work on strategic projects such as developing new growth opportunities (organic/inorganic initiatives), evaluating business performance, outlining business deep dives, and creating recommendations for business units.
• Operational Improvement: Contribute to projects focused on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness, and creating comprehensive country overviews.
• Senior Management Communications: Create clear and effective storylines, prepare presentations for senior management meetings, townhalls, leadership conferences, and investor day, consistently linking key takeaways to the project narrative.
• Industry Benchmarking: Lead the annual industry benchmarking process, collaborating with external industry consultants and internal stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-Career. MBA, master’s in finance, or an equivalent qualification. Core domain knowledge in private bank strategy, consultancy, or corporate finance.
• Experience: 4-7 years of prior experience in a strategy role, consultancy firm, private bank domain, or corporate finance role. Hands-on experience with AI tools and platforms to support analytical rigor and enhance productivity.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel for creating financial models and handling large datasets; Sound knowledge of MS PowerPoint with experience in creating presentations presentable to senior management; Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; Effective prioritization skills to meet project deadlines; Collaborative and confident individual with effective verbal and written communication skills.
