Asset Management Intern | Anchor Health Properties

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Anchor Health Properties, located in Media, PA. Anchor Health Properties is a national, full-service healthcare real estate firm specializing in development, acquisitions, and management, delivering customized real estate strategies to health systems, physician groups, and institutional partners. This role offers hands-on exposure to institutional asset management, focusing on long-term value creation through leasing, financial performance monitoring, and due diligence, which directly impacts investment performance and forms client impressions of the company.

• Mission: This person solves the problem of ensuring the optimal performance and value creation of medical office real estate investments by supporting critical asset management functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Analyze asset operating strategies to support value creation initiatives across the portfolio.
• Lease Support: Support lease administration and renewal efforts by tracking expirations, preparing lease abstracts, and assisting with renewal analyses.
• Monitoring: Monitor vacant space and leasing activity, including compiling market data and coordinating with internal and third-party leasing brokers.
• Reporting: Prepare periodic asset management reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
• Due Diligence: Participate in due diligence activities, including reviewing financial statements, rent rolls, operating statements, and market research.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently obtained a degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and professional correspondence etiquette with strong interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Interest in asset management, finance, or healthcare real estate; prior internship or coursework exposure to real estate, finance, or investments.
