The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Atlantic Group, located in Philadelphia, PA. Atlantic Group is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for its client, where you will be instrumental in supporting middle-market mergers and acquisitions transactions. This position is critical for driving deal execution by providing essential financial analysis, valuation, and transaction support. You will be a key contributor to the M&A lifecycle, building complex financial models and preparing crucial marketing materials.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain financial models, and perform valuation analyses to assess potential M&A transactions.
• Transaction Execution: Support live deal execution, including coordination of due diligence, conducting financial analysis, and structuring transactions.
• Marketing Materials & Presentations: Prepare confidential information memorandums (CIMs), pitch books, management presentations, and other essential transaction materials.
• Industry & Company Research: Conduct thorough market, industry, and competitive research to support the evaluation of transactions and advisory work.
• Client & Deal Process Management: Participate in meetings with clients and buyers while managing transaction workflows and coordinating data room activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required, with a strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions, valuation methodologies, capital structures, and financial statement analysis.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, or transaction advisory within a financial services environment.
• Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, strong financial modeling capabilities, analytical and detail-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
