What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Assist attorneys with preparing and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Case File Management: Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up to date.
• External Coordination: Coordinate with court personnel and opposing counsel as needed for litigation matters.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
• Schedule Management: Schedule and manage deadlines, hearings, and trial dates.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced professional with 5+ years in litigation, focused on meticulous detail and efficient workflow in complex legal settings.
• Experience: 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally gained in a Big Law setting.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders; high attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal documentation; a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork; working knowledge of Relativity, PACER, Westlaw, and Lexis.
• Bonus: Cryptocurrency or Crypto-Litigation experience is strongly preferred.
