What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare and meticulously format a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and general legal correspondence.
• Court Filings: Manage all aspects of state and federal court e-filings, ensuring strict compliance with procedural rules and deadlines.
• Calendar Management: Maintain and update litigation calendars, actively tracking and communicating key deadlines to the legal team.
• Litigation Support: Provide hands-on assistance with discovery processes, coordinate document production, and contribute to trial preparation efforts.
• Administrative Coordination: Support attorney billing procedures, facilitate accurate time entry, and manage general administrative tasks to ensure seamless attorney operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with extensive litigation legal secretarial experience, ideally gained within a busy international law firm environment.
• Experience: Possess 7+ years of direct litigation legal secretary experience, demonstrating strong proficiency and practical application of state and federal court filing procedures, including PACER and CM-ECF systems.
• Skills: Exhibit advanced Microsoft Word formatting skills, specifically in creating Tables of Authorities (TOA), Tables of Contents (TOC), and effectively utilizing styles for legal documents.
