The Tone:

This role is crucial as the Lead Deployment Architect for AI, serving as the technical authority for strategic accounts, shaping how Celonis solutions are designed, architected, and delivered to achieve measurable, business-critical outcomes for customers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Solution Architecture & Design: Design comprehensive Celonis solution architectures for complex enterprise deployments, integrating with customer systems, data strategies, and transformation goals, optimizing for long-term usage growth and high concurrency.
• AI Orchestration & Delivery Innovation: Define how AI deployment agents (Apollo) should be used across complex, multi-workstream engagements, developing reusable specifications and pioneering new delivery approaches to compress timelines and improve quality.
• Customer Strategy & Advisory: Serve as the senior technical advisor to strategic customers, building trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders, translating business challenges into Celonis platform strategies, and guiding their Process Intelligence maturity journey.
• Successful Implementation: Work directly with Deployment Engineers on delivery projects to implement the most complex and cutting-edge use cases, ensuring close feedback cycles with Product & Engineering for early-stage products.
• Practice Development: Contribute to defining what great looks like for the Deployment job family, leading hiring efforts, sharing knowledge through internal enablement, and providing customer insights to influence the platform roadmap with Product & Engineering.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, signifying a senior leadership career level.
• Experience: 8+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or delivery leadership within enterprise software, consulting firms, or system integrators, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead technical role on large-scale projects such as global AI transformations or near-real-time data pipelines.
• Skills: Proven ability to design complex, multi-component solutions spanning data integration, process intelligence, automation, and AI; expert-level knowledge of the Celonis platform and Python; demonstrated ability to design AI-augmented delivery workflows and define multi-agent system usage; deep knowledge in at least one major process domain; and a track record of building trusted advisor relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders.
• Bonus: Fluency in additional languages is a plus, beyond the required English.
