The firm is dedicated to representing individuals who have suffered injuries, diligently building strong legal cases and advocating fiercely for justice on behalf of their clients. As a Litigation Paralegal, this role is foundational to the firm’s operational success, managing crucial documentation, providing extensive support through all phases of the litigation process, and ensuring that legal proceedings advance efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a vital contributor to the legal team, directly impacting the firm’s capacity to deliver effective representation and secure favorable outcomes for those they serve.

• Mission: This role is centered on providing comprehensive support for litigation processes, ensuring meticulous management of legal documentation and facilitating the smooth progression of personal injury cases for the firm’s clientele.

What You’ll Actually Do
Case Management: Take ownership of organizing and maintaining comprehensive case files, including all documents, evidence, and correspondence, from the initial intake through the final resolution of personal injury matters. This involves meticulous tracking and systematic filing to ensure immediate accessibility for the legal team.
Discovery Process: Actively assist attorneys in all facets of the discovery phase, encompassing the drafting of detailed interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions, as well as the thorough review and organization of incoming discovery responses.
Pleadings & Motions: Prepare, draft, and manage the filing of a wide array of legal documents, which includes complaints, answers, various motions, orders, and other essential court submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
Trial Preparation: Provide critical support to attorneys in readiness for trials, hearings, and depositions. This includes compiling and organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, preparing trial binders, and ensuring all necessary materials are meticulously assembled.
Communication & Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for facilitating effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court administration, under the guidance of attorneys, to ensure all parties are informed and necessary actions are coordinated.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suited for a mid-level professional with specialized core domain knowledge in either Plaintiff Personal Injury law or Labor & Employment law, bringing a foundational understanding of the legal principles and procedural requirements specific to these fields.
• Experience: A solid track record demonstrating anywhere between 2 to 10 years of dedicated experience specifically working as a Litigation Paralegal within a legal firm setting, showing progressive responsibility and capability in supporting complex litigation.
• Skills: Requires proven proficiency in drafting a variety of legal documents, excellent organizational capabilities for comprehensive case management, a strong working knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules, and superior written and verbal communication abilities to interact effectively with all stakeholders.
