This role is crucial for supporting docketing requests from over 20 offices, delivering comprehensive litigation docketing services, and ensuring adherence to best practices, which is vital for effective risk management within the firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Advise Legal Teams: Provide direction on Federal, State, and local rules of procedure and practice to legal teams.
• Manage Critical Dates: Monitor court filings, extract sensitive critical dates, and record key documents and deadlines in the CourtAlert system, calculating procedural due dates.
• Conduct Legal Research: Perform legal research and respond to procedural inquiries using internal tools, PACER, Practical Guidance, and online resources.
• Communicate with Staff: Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, providing timely responses to inquiries about calendared events, court procedures, and compliance updates.
• Maintain System Data: Collaborate with application support to maintain and monitor updates of court rules and procedures, and open new cases in CourtAlert.
The Must-Haves
• Background: 3-5 years of experience in a litigation docket department.
• Experience: Strong proficiency with CourtAlert or similar rules-based docket management software and skilled in interpreting and managing deadline-related information.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, professionalism, high-quality service delivery, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Bonus: Interest in using innovative AI technology, including Harvey and Copilot, to support efficient high-impact work.
