Senior Docketing Specialist | SR Staffing

This is a Senior Docketing Specialist role, with a hybrid work model, located in Century City, Los Angeles. This position is within a global law firm, where the selected individual will be a key member of a collaborative Litigation Services team. This role is crucial for supporting attorneys and staff on high-profile litigation matters by meticulously managing crucial deadlines and court procedures.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Docketing: Manage litigation docketing and calendaring using systems such as CompuLaw.
• Monitor Deadlines: Monitor case activity and maintain critical deadlines for active litigation matters.
• Process Filings: Handle state and federal court filings, including ECF submissions and related court procedures.
• Facilitate Communication: Coordinate with attorneys, court personnel, vendors, and litigation support teams.
• Drive Improvement: Partner closely with the Managing Attorney and Litigation Services team on special projects and process improvements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior career level with core domain knowledge in litigation docketing, calendaring, or litigation support gained in a law firm environment, coupled with strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.
• Experience: 5+ years of litigation docketing, calendaring, or litigation support experience in a law firm environment, including experience with electronic court filing systems and deadline management.
• Skills: Litigation docketing, litigation calendaring, state and federal court rules, ECF submissions, deadline management.
• Bonus: Exposure to sophisticated, high-profile litigation matters.
