This Legal Assistant role provides essential legal administrative onsite support, directly contributing to the efficient operation of the Somerset office and ensuring the meticulous management of legal documents, data processing, and seamless administrative workflows for client accounts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Processing & Workflow Management: Analyze and process assigned data to ensure strict adherence to proper workflow protocols and expectations established by both clients and Zwicker & Associates.
• High-Level Administrative Support: Provide and assist in high-level legal administrative and office management support to the Office Manager and attorneys on-site, contributing to the efficient operation of the office.
• Account Status Documentation: Utilize internal software to properly update and document the current status of each account within the assigned inventory, maintaining accurate records.
• Legal Document Management: Prepare documentation for attorney review and manage the filing of pleadings, whether paper or e-file, with various state-specific court filing systems.
• Communication & Compliance: Professionally answer incoming calls and communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties, ensuring compliance with all firm standard operating procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should be eager to learn and possess a foundational understanding of administrative processes, with a commitment to integrating diverse skills and experiences to collaboratively innovate and excel in team performance.
• Experience: Proficient computer skills are required, specifically strong experience in the Microsoft Office suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel skills.
• Skills:
