The firm is dedicated to providing strategic, results-driven representation to employers across a broad range of labor and employment matters. This role is essential for a highly organized professional to be an integral part of the litigation process, efficiently managing active caseloads for attorneys.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Caseload Management: Manage and organize an active employment litigation caseload for the firm.
• Document Drafting: Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and various other legal documents as required.
• Discovery Handling: Prepare and respond to written discovery requests, including coordinating document productions and interrogatories.
• Litigation Support: Assist attorneys directly with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Calendar & Filings: Monitor deadlines, maintain litigation calendars, and coordinate filings in state and federal courts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with a preference for experience in employment defense.
• Experience: Strong experience managing discovery and document production, and drafting motions and other litigation documents. Ability to manage multiple active litigation matters simultaneously.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Experience with California state court procedures.
• Bonus: Federal court experience is a plus.
