Pre-Litigation Paralegal | Berman Law Group

The Tone:
This is an in-office Pre-Litigation Paralegal role at The Berman Law Group / 10x Law, located in Coral Springs, Florida. This position is critical within the pre-litigation team, where cases are managed from intake through settlement to ensure every client receives relentless representation. • Mission: This person manages a high volume of personal injury pre-litigation cases from intake to settlement, driving them aggressively toward resolution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Oversee and aggressively manage 80-120 active personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain proactive and frequent communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
• Documentation & Analysis: Order, track, and accurately summarize medical records and bills, ensuring meticulous case preparation.
• Demand Package Preparation: Draft and prepare comprehensive settlement demand packages, complete with detailed medical chronologies.
• Settlement Coordination: Assist with case evaluation and negotiation strategy, and coordinate medical provider reductions post-settlement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced paralegal with a strong understanding of medical terminology, bodily injury claims, and insurance processes.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience; proven success in a high-volume personal injury environment.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills for managing high-volume caseloads; Strong written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders; Meticulous attention to detail for compliance and documentation; Ability to manage urgent deadlines and competing priorities.
• Bonus: Proficiency with Aderant (ATO) and/or Filevine case management software; Spanish speaking is a plus.
