The Tone:

This position is crucial for supporting attorneys throughout all phases of civil litigation, ensuring efficient case development, discovery support, factual research, and trial preparation. The role is integral to managing complex case materials and maintaining organized, timely updates throughout the litigation process.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Development: Assist attorneys with case development, discovery tasks, and trial preparation.
• Factual Investigations: Conduct thorough factual investigations, including reviewing various records, public documents, and online sources.
• Discovery Support: Support comprehensive discovery projects, encompassing subpoenas, written discovery, detailed document review, and deposition preparation.
• Evidence Management: Collect, organize, and accurately summarize evidence, ensuring meticulous documentation and maintenance.
• Document Management: Manage large volumes of case documents effectively utilizing specialized litigation support software.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must meet all applicable paralegal requirements under state law, hold a Bachelor’s degree, and possess a paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of litigation experience, with demonstrated proficiency in trial support, conducting factual investigations, and using online research tools.
• Skills: Strong understanding of state and federal court procedures, including electronic filing systems, proficiency with litigation technology platforms and trial presentation tools, excellent organizational and communication skills, and strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
