The Tone:
This is an Associate Attorney position at O’Flaherty Law Group, located in Naperville, IL, with a hybrid work arrangement. O’Flaherty Law Group is a rapidly growing law firm with an energetic, established, creative, and dynamic team of attorneys and paralegals. The firm operates across several legal areas, including family law, probate, guardianship, estate planning, business representation, civil litigation, landlord/tenant, criminal defense, and immigration. This role is crucial for expanding the firm’s capacity in family law, civil litigation, and/or probate, serving clients across a broad geographic area.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $75,000–$100,000 yearly
• Mission: To practice family law, civil litigation, and/or probate for clients within an approximate 90-minute radius of Naperville.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Practice family law: Handle legal cases pertaining to family law.
• Practice civil litigation: Engage in legal proceedings and representation for civil litigation matters.
• Practice probate: Manage cases and processes related to probate law.
• Conduct court appearances: Regularly travel up to 90 minutes each way for court appearances.
• Provide legal services: Service clients within an approximate 90-minute radius of Naperville, with rare occasional trips up to 3 hours.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Newly licensed attorney, or an attorney with up to 2 years of post-licensure experience.
• Experience: Up to 2 years of legal experience.
• Skills: Ability to practice family law, civil litigation, and/or probate.
