• Mission: Assist financial analysts in preparing various financial analyses and calculations relating to tax-exempt bond financings to ensure compliance with federal tax laws and regulations.
• Tech Stack: Spreadsheet applications, database applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Assist analysts in preparing various financial analyses and calculations relating to tax-exempt bond financings.
• Analyze: Gather historical investment information and analyze it using spreadsheet models to determine investment returns and federal tax compliance for arbitrage projects.
• Report: Assist analysts in preparing arbitrage reports, which include a summary of all assumptions and methodologies, and the calculations for governmental clients.
• Develop: Assist with the development of financial models, preparing yield calculations, and creating loan amortization schedules.
• Support: Contribute to complex allocation analyses, swap/hedge analysis, presentations, marketing materials, and research.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Experience: Knowledge of fixed income securities, general market principles, spreadsheet and database applications, and accounting principles.
• Skills: Financial analysis, spreadsheet modeling, data analysis, accounting principles, fixed income knowledge.
• Bonus: Degree preferably in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or another technical field.
