What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecasting & Analysis: Prepare forecasts and analyze trends related to sales, finance, and general business conditions.
• Policy Recommendation: Make recommendations for financial policies and guidelines to improve the company’s financial position.
• General Ledger Management: Compute and prepare data for journal entries, then review the general ledger and related financial statements for reasonableness.
• Financial Data Compilation: Accumulate and analyze information required for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, reports, and taxes.
• Reporting: Prepare various financial reports for both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance; Entry-Level career stage.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or entry-level finance/accounting roles.
• Skills:
• Analytical Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Technical Proficiency: Operate personal computers, including Windows-based operating systems and Jabil’s specialized software packages.
• Financial Computation: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphs.
• Communication: Effectively present financial information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
