Intern – Commercial Banking – Palo Alto | Valley Bank

The Tone:
This is a 9-week internship at Valley Bank, located in Palo Alto. Valley Bank operates within the banking industry, offering students a unique and challenging experience. This role allows diverse, talented, and motivated students to gain relevant experience in commercial banking, integrating academic learning with practical application. Interns contribute to real-world projects, develop professional skills, and help achieve departmental goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Perform research and analysis on specific topics as directed by your manager.
• Contribute: Independently complete tasks that advance larger projects relevant to the assigned department.
• Engage: Participate actively in meetings and team discussions to gain insight and contribute to team goals.
• Collaborate: Communicate with team members and other departments to coordinate work and gather information for final products.
• Report: Document and report on the progress and results of assigned projects and tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a College or University program as a rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required beyond academic enrollment.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
